皆様、お久しぶりです！私たちはヴェネツィア・カフォスカリ大学で、三菱商事と連携したビジネスエクスペリエンスワークショップに「Enstay」というグループ名で活動している学生のグループです。半年にわたるワークショップもいよいよ終盤を迎え、これまでの挑戦と学びを振り返る時が来ました。この半年間、私たちは何度も壁にぶつかりながらも、試行錯誤を重ねてプロジェクトを形にしてきました。アイデアを練り直したり、方向性を大きく転換したりする中で、チームとしての結束力も深まり、一人ひとりが成長を実感できる時間となりました。特に、独自性をどう確立するか、そして現実的なビジネスモデルとして成立させるにはどうすればよいかを模索する過程は、決して簡単なものではありませんでした。しかし、意見をぶつけ合い、何度も議論を重ねることで、最終的に 私たちならではのビジネスプラン を完成させることができました。このブログでは、私たちの最終プレゼンテーションの内容を中心に、プロジェクトの背景や過程、そしてこのワークショップを通じて得た学びについてお伝えしたいと思います。最後までお付き合いいただければ嬉しいです！
Hello, We are currently working as a group under the name “Enstay” from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice’s “Business Experience Workshop 2nd Edition: Participating in the Present for a More Sustainable Future 2024/25”, in collaboration with Mitsubishi Corporation. After six months of hard work, our workshop is finally coming to an end. As we approach the conclusion of this journey, we find ourselves reflecting on the challenges we faced, the lessons we learned, and the progress we have made.Throughout this workshop, we encountered numerous obstacles that forced us to rethink our approach, refine our ideas, and even make significant shifts in our project direction. Defining the uniqueness of our concept and turning it into a viable business model was no easy task. However, through countless discussions, brainstorming sessions, and continuous refinement, our team grew stronger and more united. This experience has not only strengthened our problem-solving skills but has also helped us develop a deeper understanding of what it takes to bring an idea to life.In this blog, we will share the details of our final presentation, including the background of our project, the challenges we overcame, and the key takeaways from this workshop. １. 最後のプレゼンテーションの振りかえ
第5回のワークショップの活動では、三菱商事の方々やワークショップのコーディネーターの前で、私たちのビジネスアイデアを発表する機会をいただきました。私たちのチームの目標は、新しい宿泊体験を提供しながら、より持続可能で利用しやすい観光の形を広めることです。現在の宿泊業界が抱える課題を分析した結果、予約をスムーズにし、地元の人々と観光客の交流を促す革新的なプラットフォームを開発しました。
このプラットフォームの特徴としてホストとゲストを共通の興味に基づいてマッチングするシステムに加え、色分けされたカレンダーを用いた宿泊先の選択機能が組み込まれています。また、利用者が自分の興味や目的に合ったエリアを簡単に見つけられるよう、インタラクティブマップを導入し、より直感的な予約体験を実現します。さらに、ホストとゲスト双方が安心して利用できるよう、レビューシステムを導入し、透明性のあるサービスを提供します。最後に、プラットフォームの初期投資の見積もりや収益モデルについても説明しましたが、今後さらなる研究と検討が必要です。
- Looking back on our last presentation
During the activities of the fifth, and last, workshop, we had the chance to present our unique business idea in front of Mitsubishi representatives and workshop coordinators. Our team’s main goal is to create a new type of stay experience, aiming to spread a more sustainable and accessible form of tourism. After having carefully analyzed the various challenges existing nowadays within the hospitality sector, our group developed an innovative platform, which aims to simplify the booking process and promote shared experience between locals and tourists. Its distinctive features include a matching system that is able to connect hosts and guests based on shared interests, while also allowing users to select their preferred stays through a color-coded availability system. In order to help users select a location based on their interests, our new platform will also include an interactive map, rendering the booking experience even more intuitive. Lastly, we are planning to implement a review system for both hosts and tourists, thus ensuring complete transparency and fairness. Our group then proposed a possible financial overview of the project, highlighting both the future investments and initial revenues of the platform, albeit maintaining that further research is necessary to develop our project.
2. 三菱商事の方々やワークショップコーディネーターからのアドバイス
今回の最終プレゼンテーションでは、三菱商事の古賀さんから前向きなコメントをいただきました。私たちのプラットフォームは独自性があり、他のプラットフォームと差別化できていると褒めていただきました。また、前回のプレゼンテーションから日が経っていないにもかかわらず、随分と成長したとも言っていただきました。
このようにお褒めの言葉をいただいた一方で、ワークショップのコーディネーターからは収益面でのご指摘をいただきました。私たちが見積もった収益では、人件費に十分な金額を充てられないのではないかという指摘です。これは考慮していなかった部分であり、この指摘を通じて新たに学ぶことができました。
- Insights from Mitsubishi representatives and Workshop coordinators
During the final presentation, we received positive comments from Mitsubishi representatives. They praised our platform for its uniqueness and the way it differentiates itself from other platforms. They also mentioned that, despite the short time since the previous presentation, we had made significant progress.
While we received these kind words, the workshop coordinator pointed out concerns regarding our revenue. She pointed out that the estimated revenue might not be sufficient to cover personnel costs. This was an aspect we hadn’t considered, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn something new through this feedback.

ワークショップの活動が始まった時、私は困難なことに挑戦できるかどうかあまり自信がありませんでした。しかし、その不安こそが私にとって非常に学びの多い経験になりました。私は、未知のものを恐れるのではなく、好奇心を持って受け入れるべきだということを学びました。そして、大事なチームメイトを支えなければ、今回のチャレンジを乗り換えることができなかったと思います。毎週、彼女達は独自性の高い素晴らしいアイデアを持ち寄り、プロジェクトをより良いものにしてくれました。最後のゴールに辿り着くまでの道は簡単なものではありませんでしたが、誇りに思えるプラットフォームを作り上げたと思います。将来、この貴重な経験を大切にしていきたいと思います。
When the workshop first started, I was not sure whether I could rise to the
challenge. However, out of this same uncertainty stemmed an incredibly formative experience. I learned that I should not fear the unknown, but rather welcome it with curiosity. This journey would not have been the same without the constant support of my precious teammates: each week, they brought to the table new astounding original ideas, which greatly enriched our project. Although the path to our final goal has been challenging in many different ways, I believe together we managed to create something to be proud of. I will do my best to carry all these invaluable lessons with me in the future.

This project has definitely been a challenge for me, both in terms of language skills and practical knowledge. However, I am grateful for the opportunity to challenge myself and to learn how to learn in a stimulating and enjoyable environment.

違う環境で育ち、異なる価値観や考えを持つ者同士で何かを作り上げることは大変です。しかし、だからこそ作り上げることができるものがあると思います。特に今回のプロジェクトで作り上げたプラットフォームは、バックグラウンドが違う私たちだからこそ実現できたものだと思います。
It is challenging to create something with people who have been raised in different environments and hold different values and perspectives. However, I believe that it is precisely because of these differences that we are able to create something unique. In particular, the platform we developed in this project is something that could only have been created by us who have different backgrounds.

ワークショップは、とても充実した経験でした。特にチームメンバーとの関係を築くことができた点が印象的です。刺激的で協力的な環境で一緒に働くことで、深い絆を強化し、効果的なコミュニケーションを発展させ、共通の目標に向かって協力することを学びました。さらに、このワークショップを通じて、新たな視点や世界の見方を探求する機会を得ることができました。これらは、柔軟で広い視野を持つために非常に重要だと考えています。
The Workshop was a very enriching experience, especially for the relationships I built with my team members. Working side by side in a stimulating and collaborative environment allowed me to strengthen deep connections, develop effective communication, and learn to work together to achieve common goals. Furthermore, the workshop offered me the opportunity to explore new perspectives and ways of seeing the world, which I believe is a crucial factor in having an open mind and being ready to face global challenges.

ワークショップでは、スタートアップの開発方法や正しいデータの収集方法を具体的に学べただけでなく、お互いに強い絆を築くこともできました。
私たちは、物事を新しい視点から見ることがとても重要だと考えており、異なる視点や人生経験を持つ人々とともにプロジェクトを開発することが、このワークショップの最も重要な要素でした！
次の一歩についてはまだ確信が持てていませんが、自分たちのアイデアを発展させていきたいと考えています。どのような決断を下すにせよ、このプロジェクトを通じて得た貴重な学びを大切にしていきます。
The workshop was very enriching for us, besides learning concretely how to develop a start-up and how to collect data in the right way, we built very strong connections with each other. We believe that it is very important to get to know new ways of looking at things, and developing a project having different points of view, and also different life experiences, was the most relevant element of this workshop!
We are not yet certain about our next steps, but we would like to carry forward our ideas. Regardless of what we decide, we will surely take with us all the valuable lessons that this project has taught us.
