皆さん、こんにちは！

これが「INTER6ENERATIONAL BRIDGE」の最後のブログポストになります。

私たち６人のグループは、世代交代と高齢者支援の課題に積極的に取り組んできました。

先週、最後のプレゼンテーションを行い、三菱商事やカ・フォスカリ大学のスタッフの皆さんから貴重なフィードバックをいただき、プロジェクトを締めくくることができました。

昨年１０月から現在に至るまで、プロジェクトの内容もグループの目的も大きく変化しましたが、その過程を振り返ると、多くの学びがあったと感じています。

今回は、これまでの取り組みをまとめ、この一ヶ月間の努力を改めてご紹介したいと思います。

それでは、始めましょう。

最終プロジェクト

三菱商事のスタッフにフィードバックをいただいてから高齢者と大学生をつなぐ新しいプロジェクトを考え出しました。内容は、付き添いや買い物の手伝い、新しい趣味や技術の共有などを通じて、高齢者の生活の質を上げることです。参加できるのは18～35歳のヴェネツィア・カフォスカリ大学の学生となっています。創造性や社会的スキル、信頼性を持ち、留学生はイタリア語を学んでいることが条件です。私たちと一緒に世代間の架け橋になりませんか？。。。ぜひ参加してください！

これからこのプロジェクトの全貌を解き明かします！実際のアプリMockupもお見逃しなく！

プロジェクトを進めるために、イタリア語と英語の両方で利用できるウェブサイトと、将来的に実装予定のアプリを提案します。ただ、高齢者にとってデジタルツールは使いにくいと感じることもあるかもしれませんから学生や高齢者の家族が使い方をサポートする予定です。

まず、ウェブサイトについてです。サイトでサービス内容やインターンシップ制度についてしらべたりプロジェクトチームに連絡を取ったりすることができます。また、プロジェクトに参加するには、簡単にサイトに登録し、アカウントを作成する必要があります。

WHATSAPPに加えて、参加者同士がつながるためのアプリを開発する計画です。デザインや機能をそれぞれのユーザーに最適化し、誰でも直感的に使えるよう工夫します。参加者は、マッチングし、メッセージ、電話、ビデオ通話の三つの方法で連絡を取ることができます。

また、アプリにはカレンダー機能も備える予定です。学生は自分の労働時間を記入し、空き時間を共有できるようにします。一方で、高齢者は最低でも5日前までに希望する日時とサポート内容を入力すると、学生に通知が送られる仕組みにする予定です。

これからの流れ

このサービスの需要がヴェネツィアにある事が明確になった上で、プレジェクトの実際の実現にはお金があまり掛からない事も分かりました。第五回のワークショップで私達のプレゼンが終わってからBEWのスタッフから素晴らしい言葉を頂きました。「アイディアが素敵で、この時点でInter6enerational Bridgeが活動をしている未来が見えてきました。来年のBEW3でサービスの最終敵な形を完成させる事が出来るかもしれません」と言う言葉でした。

Hello everyone!

This is the last blog post of “INTER6ENERATIONAL BRIDGE”.

Our group of six people has been actively working on the issue of generational change and elderly support. Last week, we gave our final presentation and received valuable feedback from staff at Mitsubishi Corporation and Ca’ Foscari University, bringing the project to an end. Since October until now, the content of the project and the group’s objectives have changed significantly, but looking back on the process, we feel that we have learned a lot.

In this blogpost, we would like to summarize our efforts so far and our efforts over the past month.

So, let’s get started.

Final Project

After receiving feedback from Mitsubishi Corporation staff, we came up with a new project to connect seniors with university students. The aim is to improve the quality of life for seniors by accompanying them, helping them with shopping, and sharing new hobbies and skills. Participants must be students of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, aged between 18 and 35 years old. They must have creativity, social skills, trustworthiness, and for international students, they must be learning Italian. Would you like to join us as a bridge between generations? Please join us!

We will reveal the whole picture of this project from now on! Don’t miss the actual app mockup! To move the project forward, we plan to propose a website available in both Italian and English, as well as an app to be implemented in the future. However, since elderly people may find digital tools difficult to use, students and the elderly’s family members will support them in its correct use.

First, there is the website, where you can learn about the services and internships available, contact the project team, etc. To join the project, you will need to register and create an account on the website.

In addition to WhatsApp, we plan to develop an app for participants to connect with each other. The design and functions will be optimized for each user, and it will be designed to be intuitive for everyone. Participants will be matched and can contact each other in three ways: message, phone, and video call.

The app will also have a calendar function. Students will be able to enter their working hours and share their free time. Meanwhile, seniors will be able to enter their desired date and time and support details at least five days in advance, and a notification will be sent to the student.

Next Steps

It became clear that there was a demand for this service in Venice, and we also realized that it would not cost much to actually realize the project. After our presentation at the fifth workshop, we received some wonderful words from a BEW staff member. “It’s a great idea, and at this point we can see a future where Inter6enerational Bridge is active. We may be able to complete the final form of the service at BEW3 next year.”
