皆様、こんにちは。これは私の最後のポストです。英語で、プロジェクトの経験や私の意見を書いてあります。

Hello everyone, Im Sebastiano Biasiato from the First Group (CH1 COVID-19 “LIVING WITH CORONA), Im writing here my conclusion about my internship, the Virtual Study abroad project. First of all Im glad I had the opportunity to enroll and participate while this delicate situation. With the extending Coronavirus pandemic situation, a lot of internship programs had been cancelled, but this one particularly had caught my attention, for its interesting points and opportunity. I was therefore determined to carry out my internship by the end the 2021 second semester. I would like to analyze the pros and the competences that I got during this period. Lastly I’d like to have a look to, not flews, but maybe some improvement that could be applied to the project, for the following years. As I heard about the project, I was as interested as skeptical: my doubts were many, and I could not understand how practically the different part of the project could have coexist. I signed up anyway, because I considered it a good way to improve my speaking and writing proficiency in Japanese. Days after days, with maybe some incomprehension at the start, all together with the group leader and the other members. we kept in touch and shared interesting articles and videos about the weekly topic, using Slack and Weekly scheduled online meetings. As I said, I was frightened about “handling a lesson”, especially with students about my age, but in actually, that helped me a lot about what and what not do to develop a fun and entertaining lesson, which helped me a lot (hoping that also “my” students think the same), especially about setting my priorities and a functional study method. I believe that this part of the project, as much as the blog job we had to do, helped me to recognize different type of sources, crucial skill also to draw up an higher level thesis. I exploited and selected various media, in order to write a well informed and written post (in Japanese) and to prepare the 自由会話, the conversation lessons. Particularly, these lessons helped me to improve a broader and specific lexicon; beside that, I managed to boost my confidence by speaking whit some native and different proficiency level students. Also I recommend vividly to everyone to use the Blog resources, as in fact the are many interesting posts, with a wide range of thematic options, hence it could be helpful to find some specific lexicons and ideas. Ultimately, I may have some advises for the future years: I found some of the bureaucratic processes a bit cumbersome and maybe during the first weeks the explanations were a bit confusing in my view. To sum up im glad I managed to participate to the Virtual Study abroad, and im willing to recommend it for the future years.
